When's the next Rosie Winter book coming out?

Sadly, it looks like When Winter Returns is going to be the last title in the series, barring a miracle. I love Rosie, Jayne, and the whole gang and would've loved to have kept writing about them, but, alas, it wasn't my decision.

Would it be possible for you to continue writing and publishing the books on your own?

If there was sufficient demand, I'd definitely consider the idea. If you'd be interested in a electronic only version of a Rosie novel, let me know.

Why do you write so much about World War II?

I'm fascinated by it, I guess.It's one of those moments in history that's ripe for drama and mystery, and I'm fascinated by how the world changed for women because of the war.

How long does it take you to write a book?

It depends on the book. The first Rosie book took about a year. After that I had my sea legs and knew what to rely on research wise, so subsequent books took about 6 months. The first few chapters of

Who are your favorite writers?

Usually, whoever I'm reading at any given moment. It's hard to nail down a favorite for me. I prefer reading mysteries, but that being said I've read books in almost every genre that I ended up enjoying a great deal.

When do you write?

Whenever I can. I work full time, perform, and have a family, so writing usually happens during my commute to work, over lunch, or after my son has gone to sleep.

What advice do you have for people who want to write and publish?

Don't give up. A lot of what separates those who are published from those who are not, is persistance.Get to know the industry. You can find some great writing websites on my links page.
